FAQs
The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is a filter in your exhaust system that traps soot and other particulates from engine exhaust.
When the filter gets full of soot, the vehicle begins the regeneration cycle, using fuel to burn off the soot. As you can imagine, during this cycle, power and fuel economy are significantly reduced. But the biggest issue is the damage the clogged DPF causes on your engine. Eventually, all DPFs need to be deep cleaned, replaced or cause some sort of engine damage.
A DPF Delete pipe physically removes this filter, allowing for a free flow of exhaust away from the engine and out of the exhaust tip. The added flow improves horse power, turbo spool rate and fuel efficiency. It will also add years to your engines life.
When you use a DPF delete pipe, you will need to install a delete tune to configure your truck's computers to function without the DPF.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is a technique that reduces emissions by recirculating engine exhaust back into the engine cylinders.
This clogs intake systems with soot (which can have devastating effects on the engine), raises temperatures in the EGR cooler and causes the engine to burn more fuel in order to generate the same power. This negates the EGR's original purpose of reducing air pollution.
An EGR delete removes the EGR valve and prevents exhaust from being redirected back to the engine. The exhaust instead flows out of the truck.
When you delete the EGR, you will notice significant fuel savings and noticeably better power and throttle response.
Just like the DPF, deleting the EGR requires installing a delete tune so your truck's computers get programmed to operate without it.
Every DPF delete tuner we sell also allows for EGR deletion.
If you live in the United States, removing your truck's emissions components is not legal for road use. You may be subject to a fine if caught.
If you live in a country where these rules don't exist, then you're fine. But in the US, these components are for closed course race applications only.
In addition, make sure you do NOT delete any physical components (such as the DPF and EGR) without also installing the delete tune. Your truck will either fall into limp mode if it's newer, or you can damage your truck. If you make any hardware changes, you need to make software changes as well.
Use our dropdown menu. On mobile it can be accessed by tapping the top left 3 line icon.
Once you find your Year/Make/Model, you will see the Tuner, DPF delete pipe and EGR kit options. For some trucks, there are multiple tuner and delete pipe options. Refer to the product descriptions to see which option you prefer. Some tuners are more expensive than others, this may be due to brand name, extra features, etc. But ALL of our tuners are DPF delete compatible and will allow you to run the truck fully deleted.
We process your order within 1-4 business day of receiving payment. We source our products from multiple distributors and some products take longer to process due to demand, logistics or customization (such as VIN specific tuners).
We use UPS shipping and transit time will take an additional 4-8 business days after your order is processed. Some items are eligible for express shipping at the end of checkout. You will be emailed tracking information once your order is shipped. Note: It may take UPS up to 1 business day to update your tracking progress from the time we email you the number. This is because we get the number once the order leaves our warehouse, but tracking numbers don't actually "track" until the order is in the UPS warehouse.
