The 5" Downpipe-Back DPF Delete Exhaust for the 2017–2023 L5P Duramax removes the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and catalytic converter (CAT) from your Silverado or Sierra — ending forced regen cycles, cutting backpressure, and opening up flow with a 5" T-409 stainless steel pipe. It's the best-selling Duramax 5" full exhaust, and it bolts on across all cab and box lengths.

The L5P is a powerful engine, and the DPF is one of the main things holding it back. Regen cycles waste fuel, add heat, and the filter fails eventually. Pull the DPF backpressure out of the equation and your turbo spools faster, EGTs drop under towing loads, and the truck pulls with the confidence it was built for.

This system runs from the downpipe back, replacing the OEM DPF and CAT sections with a free-flowing pipe in a larger diameter. T-409 stainless gives you better corrosion resistance than aluminized steel, and the OEM-style hangers and clamps mount it securely. One detail to know: the kit includes an extra section for long-box trucks — if you've got a short box, set that piece aside, and the included install guide makes clear which pieces you need.

This fits the 2017 through 2023 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD with the 6.6L Duramax, all pickup cab and box lengths. It does not fit Cab & Chassis trucks. You'll need a compatible delete tune to keep DPF codes away. Shipping is free, exhaust systems are final sale, and a damaged or wrong system gets replaced at no cost.
