HOW DOES IT WORK?

The EFI Live delete tuner will permanently upgrade your truck to work without the suffocating factory emissions system.

This means you can remove ALL emissions-related parts and sensors for good, including the:

- DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter)

- DEF tank (Diesel Exhaust fluid)

- EGR System (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)

- CAT (Catalytic Converters, including DOC and NOX, etc.)

This is made possible by our custom delete tunes that wipe away the emissions system from your truck’s computer.

Steps:

You will then use the EFI Live V8 software (Free to install) to download the delete tune from your computer to your EFI Live device.

We will provide basic instructions on how to do this, but please be aware, a Windows 10+ Computer Required is required, no Macs or old PCs.

After your download the delete tune into your EFI Live device, plug the EFI Live into your OBDII port (under your steering wheel).

Follow the tune installation instructions we sent you. (Tech support is also available).

Once the pesky emissions system is “deleted” from your truck’s programming, you can proceed to remove all of the parts that are holding your diesel back from running at its best.

You will need to install a DPF Delete Pipe after you install this tune.

(The only exception are the older Duramax models that do not have a DPF)

COMPUTER NEEDED. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

To make sure you don't run into any problems with your EFI Live delete tuner, make sure your computer or laptop meets the minimum system requirements.

Software: EFI Live Scan & Tune Software V8. Download it for free at EFI Live's website.

Operation System: PC or Laptop with Windows 10 or 11. Not compatible of Macintosh or Linux.

Connectivity: One available USB port to connect the EFI Live tuner to your computer.

Display: We recommend a standard monitor or laptop screen.

Storage: Minimum of 1GB of available hard drive space.

TUNE HORSEPOWER SETTINGS

The Custom EFI Live Tune Includes multiple power levels so you can run your truck the way you want to.

The included DSP5 switch will let you change between the power levels in real time (aka: "Shift on The Fly").

Level 1: "Stock" +0HP. Ideal for daily driving, towing, and best MPG.

Level 2: +30HP. Ideal for daily driving, towing.

Level 3: +65HP. Ideal for daily driving, towing.

Level 4: +100HP. Ideal for performance applications.

Level 5: +130HP. Performance applications. Other modifications recommended.

IMPORTANT CAB & CHASSIS INFORMATION

All Cab & Chassis trucks only come with a single tune file and not DPS5.

It is a +50HP tune.

A Cab & Chassis truck is one that says "Incomplete Vehicle" below the VIN on the registration sticker, typically found on the driver door.

Most Cab & Chassis trucks are the 4500 and 5500 models.

If you have a Cab & Chassis model with a single fuel tank, please contact us before purchasing as certain model years are not compatible.

IMPORTANT 2011-2016 LML INFO

The 2011-2016 LML comes with either a Electronic Transfer Case or a Manual.

The trucks that have a Manual Transfer Case are not compatible with DSP5 tunes and will only receive a single +50HP tune.

If you turn a dial or push a button to put your truck into 4x4, you have an Electronic Transfer Case and will received DSP5 tuning.

If you pull a manual lever, you have a Manual Transfer Case.

EZ LYNK Return Policy

Your EZ-Lynk purchase contains a VIN specific, custom tune file. As a result it cannot be returned. Once we receive the tune form from you, we will no longer honor the refund of a cancelled order. You download the custom tune built to your VIN from a Windows PC to the Autocal using the free EFI Live V8 software, plug it into your OBDII port, follow the included step-by-step instructions, then pull the physical emissions hardware. The included DSP5 switch flips between five power levels in real time, no laptop needed: Stock +0HP for daily driving, towing, and best MPG, then +30HP, +65HP, +100HP, and +130HP for performance. Cab & Chassis trucks and 2011–2016 LML trucks with a manual transfer case receive a single 0HP tune and no DSP5.

A delete tuner is a device that reprograms your truck’s ECM (computer) to turn off emissions systems like the DPF, EGR, and DEF, allowing your truck to run without those components.
You MUST remove your DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), as the filter will clog and stop all exhaust flow when shut off. 

You will no longer need DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid), and you may remove your DEF tank if you wish, or it can sit empty. The EGR may remain as is, but we recommend removing the physical parts as well.
